All orders enter production within 24 hours. Our products take 3 to 7 business days to print, followed by standard shipping of 7 to 21 days depending on your location. Need it for an upcoming birthday or anniversary? Contact us right after ordering with your gift deadline, and we will do our best to expedite production.
Can I make changes after placing an order?
Production starts within 24 hours. If you spot a typo in your personalized text, custom word list, or shipping address, contact us immediately. We can easily update details before printing begins.

Thoughtful Puzzles ships internationally across the US, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia and beyond. If a customs or delivery restriction affects your location, we will contact you immediately or issue a full refund.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free standard worldwide shipping on all orders. Standard delivery typically takes 7 to 21 business days.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. Express shipping is available at checkout for our personalized puzzle books. Express transit typically takes around 3 business days post-production (3 to 7 days print turnaround). Please include your event date in the order notes so we can help you meet your deadline.
Where are your products printed and manufactured?
We partner with regional print facilities in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, the Netherlands, and India. Your custom puzzle book is automatically routed to the closest production hub relative to your delivery address to minimize transit times and reduce shipping emissions.

What can I customize in a personalized puzzle book?
You can customize the recipient’s name, front cover photo, and an cover dedication message. For our custom word searches, you can include your own list of names, milestones, and inside jokes right on page one as an add on during purchase. We offer three premium formats:
- Binding Options: Lay-flat spiral bound (ideal for solving), classic perfect-bound paperback, and keepsake hardcover.
- Size Options: Pocket (4 × 6 in / 10 × 15 cm), Compact Trade (6 × 9 in / A5), and Large Print (8.5 × 11 in / Letter / A4).

Are your puzzles in US or UK English?
Our Mega and Super Crossword books use US English, Arrow Word puzzles use UK English, and our custom word search books can be customized with your preferred regional spelling (US or UK/Australian English).

Each cube arrives fully solved. We recommend snapping quick photos of each side before scrambling so you have a visual reference while solving.

Yes. Every cube arrives fully assembled, lubricated for smooth, tension-adjusted turning, and packed in protective packaging ready for gifting.
Custom & Bulk Orders
Do you handle bulk orders for weddings, corporate gifts, and events?
Yes. We frequently design custom event puzzles for wedding "sip & solve" stations, milestone birthday favors, holiday corporate gifting, and team events.
How do I place a bespoke or bulk order?

Returns, Cancellations & Support
What is the return policy?
Because our gifts are personalized and returns generate unnecessary carbon emissions, we do not require you to ship items back. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, send us a photo via email and we will issue an immediate replacement or full refund. You are welcome to keep, recycle, or donate the original item to a local charity.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of placing your order. Because production begins rapidly, orders that have already reached the print stage cannot be recalled. If an item arrives after cancellation, feel free to enjoy it, gift it, or donate it.
What if my order is lost in transit?
If your tracking link shows no scan activity for 2.5 weeks, contact our support team. We will open an investigation with the carrier and immediately send a free replacement or issue a full refund.
